A team scores only when batting, by advancing past a series of four markers called bases arranged at the circle. This is the basic baseball rule and regulations. What are the bats made of? Most of the time the bats are made of wood. Most of the the wooden bats are made from ash wood. Other woods that are used for making baseball bats are hickory, maple and bamboo. In a professional baseball game, only wooden bats are allowed. They are not permitted to be corked or bat that is filled with a light substance such as cork which reduces the weight without costing greatly in hitting power. For little league baseball, both wood and metal alloy bats are allowed. This is a another basic baseball rule and regulations. However, no matter what the bats are made of, the young hitters must always know how to hit the ball properly. Below are some effective baseball hitting tips: Advice for younger hitters Out of many advices, the best advice that a youth baseball coach can give a young hitter is to …

Customer Review: Baseball Fundamentals at its Finest
I am 35 year veteran of this great game and have never come across a training tool as informative and helpful as this. As a former minor leaguer and a current high school baseball coach, I’m always was looking for ways to improve baseball knowledge and training skills. A good friend and major league scout recommended “Baseball Skills and Drills” by Bragg A. Stockton and I thanked him repeatedly. This DVD breaks down every part of the game to its fundamental form and helped me incredibly. If you’re looking for something to help your team or your individual child, this is the perfect training video.
Customer Review: Great complete series at a great price!!!
This complete series is second to none when it comes to youth league instruction. It really helped me teach my son the proper fundamentals of baseball.

And unless they are already established as an all-star caliber hurler it’s the wisest way to keep pitching during the winter. Sure, you won’t see young guns like Tim Lincecum or Cole Hamels or a veteran like Randy Johnson throwing a baseball down in Venezuela in December or January, but each year the number of players who take advantage of winter league baseball increases. Owners, general managers, and coaches often strongly suggest that younger baseball players to head down south to keep their arms in shape. Many times it is written into a player’s contract, making it mandatory. Gone are the days of the Steve Carlton pitching workout programs where he would work out his arm in a barrel full of rice to keep to keep it in shape. Old school programs such as Carlton’s never made sense. Pitching is much more than working the arm. In fact, pitching has more to do with the legs and proper mechanics on the mound than anything else. There is no better way to keep the arm healthy and strong th …

Customer Review: Best LL game ball around
Durable, great thread feel and movement even for developing pitchers. Threads will flatten after a good hit which can make the ball fly a little less true, but even then it’ll still last months under heavy practice use.

Customer Review: Great Info, a Bit “Severe”
A great set of four disks covering Little League baseball to the max. Only caution is that the pro players “coaching” these kids (& likely their parents) are rather hyper, I mean, this is supposed to be fun…please keep it that way. Kids matter more than anything else.
Customer Review: Great Intro for Kids!
These give great step by step instruction for beginners. Great with basics and a good start…

The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training The Bad News Bears In Breaking Training is the comic and poignant second-in-the-series of adventures with the pint-sized sandlot ballplayers initiated with the smash success, The Bad News Bears. The picture picks up the Bears’ career a year after their infamous second-place finish in the North Valley League. Faced with a chance to play the Houston Toros for a shot at the Japanese champs, they devise a way to get Texas to play at the famed Astrodome. On their pilgrimage to Houston, the Bears gain a new coach; dump that coach; add a new pitcher who can’t get his fastball over the plate; find another coach who shows him how it’s done, and go on to a come-back victory with all eyes on Japan.
Customer Review: The best baseball movie for the young viewers.
Not that long ago before today’s little league baseball players dreamed of one day joining the majors because of the 10 to 20 million dollars they could make in a year (yes,a year!),there was this movie,The Bad News Bears in breaking training. What I enjoyed about this movie was that it was one of those classic baseball movies that could never be remade today. After watching this movie back in the day,we all dreamed of having our little league team play in what was at the time a baseball stadium like no other….The Houston Astrodome. In this 2nd chapter of the Bad News Bears trilogy, the San Fernando Valley-based team is given the opportunity to play in an exhibition game vs the home town Toros in the Astrodome. Having abandoned their coach, the coachless team heads to the lonestar state in hopes of living every young ball player’s dream while team leader Kelly pursues the opportunity to reunite with his father, played by William Devane. Watching this movie makes you realizes how much the game has changed for the worse considering this movie was made as recent as the late 1970’s. Today, young ball players are doing steroids, major league stars are putting money over fans as their top priority, and teams are threatening to move to other cities if their demands for a new ballpark are not met. Had I told someone in 1977 that this was the future of little league and major league baseball, would they believe me? If you want your young ones to see a great baseball movie full of young but true role models, then get this dvd. Oh,by the way,if you are wondering why I believe this movie could not be remade today, think about this……with all the new stadiums we have seen built in the last 15 years,it would be hard to argue why one stadium should be picked over all the others as the location of filming. Play Ball!!!!!!
