I bought one for my son when he was eight and he has been using it for a little over a year now. I have recently purchased another one for me. This glove has soft leather and descent padding. Very comfortable and very easy to break in. This is not a glove that you will be able to use your entire youth and then pass down to your kids. Just looking at how this glove has aged so far, I expect to get several years of heavy use out of it. It is an inexpensive glove that can be used right away and with a little TLC should last through most kids little league careers. I would recommend this glove to any level of player.
